Day 4: Stay hydrated
Making sure you’re drinking enough water is a much-repeated wellness tip - but, for good reason!
Amy Kakebeeke, a health coach and member of our Foundation staff team, shares about why drinking water is so important:
“Throughout the day, when you’re just going about your regular activities, your body loses water. We need to replenish this water in order to feel our best. Staying hydrated stops you from feeling sluggish, reduces your headaches and helps to keep you focused.
“My favourite tips for increasing your water intake is to carry a reusable water bottle with you everywhere you go, keeping a glass of water on our bedside table to drink first thing in the morning and adding in a slice of lemon or lime for some variety!”
